Josh and Anna Duggar just gave birth to their 2nd son this June - Do you think Anna and Josh will have 19+ kids like his parents? What do you think of this situation? Honestly I'm 23, the same age as him and she's 22 and they already look about 10 years older than me :P --- do you think having this many babies should be condemned or promoted?

If everyone had that many babies there wouldn't be enough room in all the world to hold them all, especially once they grow up and all start to lead individual lives and have their own personal homes. So I definitely don't think that having 20 children per couple should be promoted.

Anna and Josh will probably have lots of children if they are anti-birth control like Josh's parents. They wanted to leave it up to God (by not using any birth control ever) and if Anna and Josh do the same thing I can't imagine that they'll be able to stick with only 2 or 3 kids like the average family.

Maybe not as many children but I see them having a big family and your right they do look a lot older than 22 and 23. I think that many babies should be neither condemned nor promoted it really comes down to personal decision and is up to them, if you can handle raising that many children (as the duggars clearly can) then go for it. I would never have that many but that's just me. Some religions also forbid the use of any contraceptives other than abstinence, no pill no condoms or anything which is how some people end up with so many children, not sure about the Duggars but I believe their religion could be one with those beliefs.

I don't think it right, and it looks a little unhealthy as well. Kids are beautiful and family is such a big part of your life. I do think Anna and Joshua are going in the same direction. I understand where they are coming from, and the whole we will have as many kids as god wants. But I feel like whatever they do is on them, and no one will stop them from having another 19 kids.

it was acually their first son, their first child is a girl. well my dad is 1 of 12 kids, and i think if its what you want then go ahead, the duggars are obviously happy having all those kids. and i dont necessarily think anna and josh will have tons of kids. i think they'll just have as many kids as god gives them

I don't think anyone should have 19 kids. There's no way each and every kid gets the individual attention it deserves. They all seem weird and robotic to me, like they don't know how to act other than how the parents tell them to.

I sure hope the kids don't end up having that many kids. :( I hope they find something they like to do when they get older other than having kids.

They've already said that 4's their max - they don't want 19+
