Due date question...please read :o)?

So I got my BFP on saturday!!!

I know how to calculate my due date, however my cycles are long, about 33 days. So if I do the traditional calculation, from my last period, I am due April 12, 2010. The flip side to this is I know that I conceived closer to the 19th day of my cycle, so going by conception date my due date is April 17, 2010.

My question is when I have my first OB/GYN appointment are they going to insist that my due date is based on my last period, or do you think they will agree with the conception date calculation?

I really don't care (except my due date based on last period puts me over 5 weeks pregnant and that's fun!), just more curious than anything.

Thank You!

dr's will base ur due date off ur last cycle. Then, once u get an ultrasound if it shows more than 7 days dif they will change ur due date based on the ultrasound

I got told that i was due on 26th August going from the first day of my last period but after having scans they changed to to September 30th! Talk about way off lol. Ill just keep waiting to see when baby will pop out lol.

Since your periods are usually so long, they may actually do an ultrasound (not all docs do this at the first appointment) to date the pregnancy!! So then, you would have a much more accurate date. :)
