Hey everyone! 37 wks with # 2 and everytime after I eat my daughter is kicking around like crazy! I was having contractions earlier but they stopped so I had some REALLY spicy buffalo wings like an hour ago hoping to bring them back. Anyway, shes not moving like she usually does and I was just wondering if anyone ate something spicy and this happened to them and if they were in labor shortly after. I know it's a old wives tale but I would be thankful if it worked!! I am hoping to wake up in the middle of the night with non stop contractions.....thanks for your input!

There is not a thing you can do. That baby will come when good and ready. One good thing is that when they stop moving so much usually means it is shortly near. Hang in there you could have 4 more weeks. Hopefully you will go in labor sooner than that,

No - that did not work for me. Either time. I could not eat enough hot and spicy food with both of my pregnancies (mexican nacho plater with jalapeno peppers was my fave) I was 2 weeks overdue with both and had to be induced both times

Not sure where the above comment came from on not eating spicy foods when pregnant. My kids are fine and I am not aware of any scientific evidence that backs that theory

Spicy food is not good for the baby.. dont do that. stop trying to induce your labor, u can end up harming the baby. the baby will come when she is ready.
