At this point my stomach has not balloned asof yet either.......and by now woman usually have that truckdriver appetite by this time.....

Well considering I eat constantly I would say your not eating enough lol. I mean as long as your not walking around hungry all the time I like your ok. Try to pack an apple or some kind of fruit into your diet during the day - I am not going to lecture you on eating healthy blah blah blah because I can't say that I go out of my way to do so either but I do think it would be good to pack a little extra food into your diet.

And btw at 17-18 weeks I still didn't really have a belly yet.. I didn't get into maternity clothing until 20 something weeks pregnant so don't worry about the belly just yet.. it will come =)

oh ps docs want you to gain a pound a week so you need to be sure to start weighing yourself this is what I had to do (I walk a lot and get lots of exercise and my doc wanted me to begin weighing myself)

Really all you need is only 300 or so extra calories a day when you're pregnant, fewer during your first trimester. That's about the number of calories found in two and a half cups of low-fat milk or a tuna sandwich. So instead of helping yourself to extra servings at mealtime, think in terms of a smart snack, such as a glass of orange juice and a couple of slices of whole-wheat toast, to boost your calories during your pregnancy.

I'm sure you're eating enough, just make sure you eat healthy and get enough water.

I ate as much as I felt like! Your body will tell you what you need. That's another reason for cravings! Don't compare your eating habits to those of other pregnant women. What is right for them might not be right for you. Your pregnancy is unique to your body, so my advice would be to eat as healthy as you can, eat what you like and stay active! Congrats!

I ate every time my body told me too. I always had snacks on hand like fruit, crackers, chips, a bagel and cream cheese, veggies. I tried to go with some healthy options so I wasnt eating complete junk. It was nice because I knew that I was listening to my body! :) Good luck!

im not a mom but i am 33 weeks and one day. i didn't eat much at all in my seconds trimester and ended up measuring low in my third. i was tiny to begin with [98lbs before i was pregnant] but everything is fine and my baby is healthy. just make sure your taking your prenatal pills and you both will be getting what you need.

I ate about the same as before pregnancy when I wasn't getting sick. I still had "morning sickness" around that time so I when I did eat, i couldn't hold it down much.
