question about discharge in late pregnancy.?

i have always had alot of discharge since i have been pregnant (i am 35 weeks) i usually just wear a panty liner and i am good to go, well lately (like the past two or three days) i can literally feel it come out (if you know what i mean) its still white, kind of watery, but really gross, its not my mucus plug, its just discharge, even wearing a panty liner isnt helping its still getting in/on my pants which grosses me out even more, and its got a bit of an odor, real light smelling, i am not sexually active, not allowed to be i have a cerclage (stitches in my cervix) i have an incompitant cervix, so it weird to me why its doing this all of a sudden, i constantly have cramps too, oh the joys of pregnancy LOL
anyway what do you think is going on?

I had this problem from pretty early on in my pregnancy but it got progressively worse as I neared the end. My one suggestion to you is that mine was leaking like you describe yours and I had it checked and I happened to be leaking amniotic fluid, they ended up inducing me that night. At your next appointment, you should have your doctor check if it is amniotic fluid by doing the fern test. It is better to be safe because losing amniotic fluid could be harmful to the baby. But overall I believe it is just one of the lovely symptoms of pregnancy. Congratulations and good luck.

Its normal. With have a cerclage, the mucus may be staying "inside" longer before getting so full it just comes out in large amounts. Think of it like holding your hands cupped inder a running faucet. Once there is so much water, it spills out around the sides. Same thing. Unless the discharge becomes greenish in color with a really foul odor or blood you will be fine. But for your own piece of mind, call your OB just in case.

It is still most likely your mucous plug. But at the same time it could be an infection. I too had a cerclage. The cramping happend alot with me as well. Call the dr and let him know that you have a dicharge thick and soaking through a pad and that it in fact has an odor!

That used to happen to me too, and I don't have any problems with my crevix at all, I just kept feeling so uncomfortable and I used to change my panty liners several times a day and at night I'd always take a shower. My ob said that it was very normal, it does have a smell to it, but it's very light...as long as it is not a foul smell you are good, just one of the joys of pg.
