Which one is better? I'm expecting a baby girl in October, and have been offered a second-hand 4 wheel stroller in good condition, but I was wondering which one is better in your opinion and why...?

I purchased a 4 wheeler as I had heard that the 3 wheelers can tip if are not careful going down curbs and stairs...
But my friend says her 3 wheeler has the best turning circle...
I would take the freebie... Anything for free is great...

I have had both a 3 wheeler and a 4 wheeler. In my opinion my 4 wheeler (Steelcraft Enigma) was not big enough for my baby after about a year. His feet hung out the bottom and his head was almost at the top of the backrest part. It also had small wheels which would sometimes spin for no apparent reason while I was walking. Its also quite large when folded up and bulky to move. My new 3 wheeler (Valco Runabout Tri-Mode) is fantastic. It folds down small and is much bigger. Perfect for a newborn or even up to a 3year old. Max weight is 22kg. It has real tires with an inner tube you can pump up. The wheels are much bigger so its more steady, and the stearing with only one wheel at the front makes is super easy to steer, especially if you have only one hand! This particular pram also has attachments like a toddler seat, a bassinette and a skateboard to attach at the back for the older child to hitch a ride. I would reccomend you get a 3 wheeler, they usually have wider set wheels making it more stable and less likely to tip over than 4 wheelers. But spend a bit of money on a pram, the cheap dodgy ones dont tend to last as long (as I discovered with my first pram) but the slightly more expensive ones will probably last through your 2nd, 3rd or even 4th child. The best thing you can do is go to a baby store where you can push the prams around and get a feel for them yourself. Throw your handbag in it for a little bit of extra weigh that your baby would add. Good luck!

i personally think three wheel strollers are the best they can be used for running or jogging (thats why they have huge wheels) and they maneuver through stores great and turn on a dime where as four wheel strollers you have to back up go forward turn and its just a mess also three wheels isnt as bumpy as four wheels

three wheel strollers are great for running and jogging hands free, but they are terrible on turns even slight turns, personally I would take both, but if you only have room for one go with the 4 wheel. they fold up nicer and much more convienent.
