ok i asked this before but no answers :( my period is fairly regular but i have a long cycle (33-35 days). my last period was from june 17-june 24 (i think! sorry i don't remember exactly). anyways, my husband and i had sex last tuesday, july 8th and the condom broke. saturday the 12th we had unprotected sex. then yesterday we had sex but again the condom failed (had several holes. defective batch??).

my question is, is it possible for me to be pregnant? i mean we weren't trying but we were planning on starting to try in november so it wouldn't be a bad thing at all. we'd be thrilled.

p.s.
we're young (20 and 22) but both work steady jobs, have careers, have alot saved up because we knew we wanted to have a family young, and have a nice place and 2 cars. we're doing ok and in a good place to have a baby. just so i don't get the "how old are you?! use protection!" comments. thanks!! :)

Sex makes it possible for you to be pregnant. While in MOST cases, pregnancy comes around ovulation time, MANY people have gotten pregnant while on their periods.

With that said, of course it's possible.

Congrats, I know how it feels for people to get on you because you're 20. I'm 22 and my husband is 24 and for some reason people assume because of our age, we're unfit to be parents regardless if we're financially and mentally stable enough to have a baby, then again the people who say we're too young are the one's to experience life and such, but honestly I've never been the typical 22 year old, having crazy night and partying and such has been the last thing on my mind since I was like 18.

Sure it's possible! Take a home test. Some brands can tell you days after conception now. And they say it's easier to get pregnant when you're not trying.

That's how it happened with both of my pregnancies. I was 19 and 24 when baby 1 and 2 came, so I will be the last to tell you that you're too young. I knew I wanted to be a young parent also (my mom died when I was 5, and she was only 43, so I knew how precious life was).

There is a chance that you can be pregnant. You will find out one way or another around the 19th or so of this month. I do want to tell you that your peak day is usually 13 days before your first day of your next cycle. Age has nothing to do with anything. Good for you guys getting married early and going for what you want. So you are starting your family earlier thenyou originally planned is alright. It sounds like you are kind of prepared in case you are pregnant. I just want to wish you the best of luck. If you ever want to figure out your fertility and your cycle, you can just google "iVillage -fertility planner" and you can start up your own charting plan. It helps to determine when to try to conceive and when to abstain if you don't want to be. Either way Good Luck

It could, of course, be possible. But, you may have ovulated before the 8th. You would usually ovulate in the middle of your cycle, so that would put you ovulating between the 3rd and 6th. If you did ovulate in that time frame, you probably missed it. But, if you ovulated from the 7th or later, there is a good possibility.

You could probably test within the next week and get an accurate result.

Good Luck either way.

Ok, yes.. its very possible you could be pregnant. Women ovulate 14 days before your next period is due.. so in your case, you should ovulate on cd 19-21... so if your period started on June 17th, then u would ovulate between July 5th and July 7th.... So if your days are off just a bit, then you may have had sex the day of ovulation.

its definitely possible, usually women ovulate days 14-20 or so of their cycle but since yours is longer than normal its tough to say, looks like if you are on a 33-35 day cycle you should be starting within the next week so I would say that if you dont start within a week, take a HPT and see! Good luck

If the condom broke then there is a good possibility. You don't have to be trying to get pregnant to get pregnant.

its deffinatly possible =) take a test!

and i know how you feel about people judging you!

im 18 and pregnant, me and my partner have a house and full time jobs, we both have our licence.. even though we only have one car at the moment.

people are to quick to judge these days.

anyway if you are pregnant goodluck with starting your little family, i hope everything goes well

typically you ovualte 10-14 days after your period STARTS. but since you cylce is longer, you migh ovulate a little later...so yes its possible. tests these days let you test for pregnancy about 2-3 days BEFORE your missed period, although if you wait til your period is due, it is much more accurate.

It is way to early to tell. You know your body better then any of us do. You should look up info on the Internet about pregnancy and women's cycles.

why would you even bother telling us how old you are if you don't want those comments???

your age, career, money, and cars... etc. doesn't tell you whether you're pregnant or not.!!!
