It should certainly be illegal past 12 weeks, but unfortunately it's not. If you're that far along, the baby will certainly be able to feel the abortion. It will experience pain. If you do this, you're just as heartless as a person who murders their child on the day that they're born.



I only make an exception if it's your life or the child's. Then, it's whatever you choose. Nobody can tell you to die for another person.

If you are able to find a place that will perform an abortion when you are that far along, I strongly urge you not to do it. At this point your baby can feel pain. It has eyes and ears, hands and feet. It has working internal organs. It is undeniably a human being at this point.



I don't judge because I have no right. I don't know your situation. But please, If you truly do not want this child, give it up for adoption. There are so many loving families that can't have kids of their own and they are just waiting for someone like you to come along and help them complete their family.

It's too late for an abortion, but believe me, as a mom of a 2 1/2 month old, when you give birth to a baby there is no greater love in the world that you can feel. Birth is the most amazing miracle there is and that little baby in there has a life too. Imagine what would have happened if your mother aborted you? Give your baby a chance to live.

why have you waited so long? did you not know you were pregnant? were you raising the money to get the abortion? i don't know your situation, so i will not judge, unlike those in here who are. you may have a hard time finding a clinic willing to abort this late in the pregnancy. you're better off just going to term and putting the resulting child up for adoption.

Its way to unsafe to get 1 done now...you could be in risk of hurting yourself at this point if you went and got one. Yes, abortions are still available, but for the sake of the child, who is almost viable and able to sustain life, wait another few months and give birth. Give the baby up for adoption! You really should have thought of this before you were 20 weeks, as the procedure they do to abort the baby is very painful for the unborn child, and I think illegal... in just a merely 6 weeks or so, if your baby was born, it has a good chance at survivng does that mean anything to you. My baby is only 11 weeks gestation and it's already considered a part of our family.

This entirely depends on where you live, but, if you are in the US, you can get an abortion up to the 24th week of pregnancy. However, it should be noted that it becomes much harder to find clinics past the first 12 weeks.

Technically, you have until the 3rd trimester (6th month). Once you are 6 months, most clinics will not unless the mother's life is in danger. Some places won't do it at 5 months because sometimes that is a viable fetus.

Legally I think you can have one until the 3rd trimester. How far along you are alters what kind of abortion you can have. I think being that far along you can no longer do the abortion pill, but have an actual medical procedure.
