Okay so mid February i had unprotected sex twice in the same night, with the same guy. We used the withdrawal method though. My period was due around the time i slept with him but i haven't received one since the end of my January cycle. I took a test 2 weeks after the sex but it was negative. Could this of been to early for the test or is there another reason that could be causing my period not to come? Today would be the day i usually start my period however i don't even have any sign of it coming. I do have a few pregnancy symptoms but this could just be coincidence, i have nausea, frequent need to pee and really sore boobs. Do you advise maybe taking another test or just going to the doctors?

Honey - there is no such thing as the 'withdrawl method' it is not a form of contraception! You can get pregnant from pre-***, let alone the sperm left on his penis the 2nd time you made love. So there is every possibility your pregnant. Go to the doctors cherub, he will be able to give you another test.

Good luck xxx

I'd take another test. At this point, a month or so after the sex, it'll be accurate. If negative, see the doctor. There maybe something more serious causing your missing period.

2 weeks after sex would have been the soonest you could have taken the test. Not many people get a positive that close to the conception date. It would have been too early. I would take another test, if that's negative then go ahead and call your doctor.

Hi the withdrawal method is unfortunately not a method, it is a make believe that one cannot fall pregnant which is not true as you cannot determine if any sperm was left inside you. In saying that however, Reading the rest of your message, I suggest you take another test. Don't wait rather be sure. Good luck.

I agree with the PP, you might have tested too early. Definitely take another test... and regardless of the result, you should see your doctor. If you are pregnant, you need to start prenatal care. And if you aren't, you may need some assistance with your cycles. Either way, test and call your doc.
