How far are you?...drink a glass of water and lay down on your side on the bed, the baby should start moving, if you don't feel anything try to take a little bit more water.
If you don't feel him move after a while, you should call your doctor.
If you are in the last weeks the baby movements are not as often as they used to be on the second and beginning of the third trimester, because the space is quite small for him to move around easily. But anyway you should call your doctor.

Sometimes it can mean the baby is coming. Sometimes it is just that the baby is resting more maybe growing through a growth spurt. If you are active you are less likely to feel the baby move too. That does not mean you won't feel it move when you are being active it is just harder to feel the smaller movements. There tends to be less movement at the very end too because the baby is running out of room. You can make an appointment and listen to the heartbeat if you are really worried though. Good luck.

You do need to call your midwife.. i was exactly the same as you and didnt think too much of it.. have you felt anything at all or have u possible just been moving around alot not to feel it? i let mine go for 3 days and midwife was cranky i didnt ring earlier. Everything was fine in my case but i was feeling tiny tiny flutters, nowhere near as much as usual, its a possibility like me the baby has changed positions but you do need to go and get the heartbeat checked out. Good luck, dont feel bad ringing the hospital its better to be safe than sorry they prefer you to! x

Are you sure that is what you were feeling and it was not just gas it was further in before I felt a lot of movement. A good trick is to drink something sugary like juice and see if that will increase the movement or just go in and have them check. I wouldn't worry unless you are having bleeding or strange cramps then I would go in straight away to the ER

hi. I had the comparable concerns around the 20-23 week mark. sometimes i could sense stream, then for some days no longer something. i be conscious of it is unsettling. infant continues to be extremely small and could be moving plenty with out you noticing. yet rigidity is the worst subject you could placed your self with the aid of so pass and get it checked, they are going to hear for the pulse to place your innovations at relax. I did it three times in the time of that comparable 3 week era, i'm specific my midwife thinks i'm insane! x

Not to scare you, but if you do not get any movement (with drinking the soda or OJ like AMBER suggested) call your doctor first thing in the morning or go to the ER. This EXACT same thing happened to me. I went to the doctor, they did an ultrasound (everything looked good) and then did heart monitoring (everything looked good for an hour) and then her heart rate dropped. I was admitted to the hospital the next day for FULL day of monitoring and an emergency c-section.
The umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck and her foot, so every time she move she was strangling herself.
I am certain everything will be fine- BUT trust your mom instincts!

I dont think its normal.Try drinking something cold and eat something sweet! That might get your baby to kick or move. When my baby didnt move for a day, my ob suggested to drink a lil soda and once i did that my baby went nuts. If anything else, I would call your doc First!!!

This is probably most likely normal. If this was your first time feeling the baby, then it is probably still getting used to being able to move and kick.
If you still do not feel anything within the next few days, you might want to go in for an ultrasound.

It's normal because you're not too far along. Some days baby move alot some days they don't. You really don't have to worry about fetal movements until your 3rd trimester when you have to start counting them.

my due date is on oct 9, just 4 days apart from you, this is my second pregnancy, and i seldom feel my baby move, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt, and even if i feel the movement, its just too weak, i mean only flutters, i guess its still small to be really noticeable.
try to call your ob, but i think, base on how far along you are, it really sounds normal to me.

this happened to me... I was told to eat something and drink something.. then lay on your LEFT side... record any type of movement for one hour... if you feel nothing or very little
Go to the ER.
I went to the ER and they sent me to labor and delivery and checked me out.. everything was fine.
