Do they check you for dilation with a sched c-section?

My first baby was an emergency c-section. I am sched in Jan for another c-section. I was just curious if they will still check me for dilation since I will have my son at 39 weeks. I found it rather unpleasant when the doc checked me and am hoping to skip it! :-)

Just refuse it, its your body - no need if you're scheduled for a C

There really is no point to cervical checks, whether you are having a section or not. You can always refuse it if you would like.

Some doctors still will, but you as the patient have the right to say that you dont want to be checked.
