It is self-hypnosis during natural child labor. I have been googling it for awhile, all the programs are expensive. Is there any stores that might carry supplies. I cant buy online, we dont have a credit card. But I think this is the way for me

There are some great resources online....our hospital teaches a class...I would look around to see if the hospitals in your area teach a class (or sometimes there are free introductory classes at babies r us). Make sure that you express your wishes to your MD/midwife and to your nurse in the hospital, then they can help you follow through with the plan.
If you can do enough research online, you can probably develop a birth plan with your provider and then buy a relaxing cd to bring to the hospital and you can practice the breathing at home......
If I find a good resource then I will forward it to you...

It works, it works well and you can probably do it.
See if there is a La Mas class in your area. They teach a relaxation technique that is standard hypnosis but they don't call it hypnosis ( a lot of people are uncomfortable with the name). Practice this with your partner several times a day . Find a hypnotherapist that teaches pain control and enjoy . between the two you should have a good birth with minimum discomfort Do not use the word pain Get going you have a limited amount of time. Have you talked to your MW or md yet
