I am 11 weeks and felt a flutter in my tummy (2-3 inches below my navel) over the weekend. It only lasted a few second and felt like a fish moving in a bag with water. It happened once again the same day. It was more of a flutter than a movement and felt nice.

I did a lot of search and found that it is possible to feel the fetus movement as early as 8-9 weeks if the mother is thin and the placenta is anterior. They begin to move around and swim then. So feeling the movement/flutter is a likely possibility. I get to see my OB this week and will ask her.

Good luck!

Yes, you start to feel fluttering at around 20 weeks. Soon you're going to feel tumbles and sudden movement, and they make you squirm! (in a good way) yayyy for babies
