My last period was May 26th .. but i have irregular periods so that doesnt help... i had PROTECTED sex with my boyfriend on the June 13th.. it was our 3rd time but the condom broke.. immediately we rushed out and got plan B... i took it within and hour and a half after. and then took the 2nd pill 12 hours later .. which was the next morning so the 14th .. i havent really had any symptoms just a little upset stomach every now and then.. and yesterday the 18th i had back aches and now today i had a head ache and some stomach aches but idk if its related to plan b or not.. i read that people have had spotting and gotten their periods by now and i havent had any of that so i am worried it did not work.. also my nipples seem to be a little sensitive.. do you think the plan b worked?

Also, I sometimes get back cramps which i had yesterday and i break out on my face (which i am) .. before i get my period.. so do you think they could be my period symptoms as well?

these are pretty standard reactions to the plan b pill.. and to someone over thinking the whole situation. i think this is all in your head.. but i know that when i have a scare or a late period (i'm also a bit irregular) it helps to just take the test anyway, then its not on my mind.. so wait a week, pee on a stick and see the results

Plan B is designed to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. The sooner the first dose is taken, however, the more effective Plan B becomes. According to the Plan B Official Website, "About 7 out of every 8 women who would have gotten pregnant will not become pregnant. Plan B works even better if taken within the first 24 hours after unprotected sex." This means, however, that Plan B is not as effective as any methods of birth control used or taken in advance, like condoms or contraceptive pills.

Side effects of Plan B include nausea, vomiting, feeling weak, tiredness, spotting and early menstruation. All of these symptoms are completely normal, but may affect whether or not you finish taking the full dose of Plan B. If you are too nauseous to take your second pill, Plan B will not be effective. You must take both doses for Plan B to be effective. If you throw up after taking the first pill, take the second pill and tell your doctor you need a replacement pill to take 12 hours later. You can take over-the-counter anti-nausea medications like Dramamine if you are feeling particularly nauseated.

I'm not sure if you would still be feeling symtooms from the Plan B this long after taking though as I have never taken it myself. It is possible you are just getting your period but you could always buy a pregnancy test just to check. By now enough time should have gone by. Good luck.
