How far along in a pregnancy can you find out the sex of the baby?

I have read a lot of different things saying which week the sex can be determined. I thought that what i read was right but now i am confused please help

They will schedule your appt for a gender scan normally about 18-20 weeks along. I wouldnt trust anything before that. A lot of mistakes come from doctors that tell you your gonna have a girl at 15 weeks pregnant and then a month later you find out its actually a boy. Happens a lot. The only ones that can tell as early as about 14 weeks or so are if you go have a 4D ultrasound. They are generally able to get a better view of what your baby is before 18 weeks. You just gotta pay for it :)

i actually found out when i was 15 weeks but usually they dont schedule an ultrasound untill 18 to 20 weeks because they dont do an ultra sound just to find out the sex of the baby...they do an ultra sound at 18-20 weeks to check a bunch of things that they cannot tell before that...good luck!!

It really depends on how your baby wants to cooperate with the ultra sound. Their genitals are formed at 14 weeks so any time after that. Though most sites I've read have said 18 weeks +.

As early as 16 weeks with optimal conditions. More likely between 18 and 22 though that you will actually find out. Good luck!

The baby's genitalia are completely developed by the 13th to 14th week. If your baby is very cooperative you can find out by about 15 to 16 weeks (I found out about my boy at 15 weeks). Usually people will find out about 18 to 20 weeks just to be sure.

I found out at 18 weeks. But my friend found out at 13 weeks and my sister-in-law just found out at 15 weeks. I would say between 13 & 18 weeks. It depends if the baby wants you to see or not. lol

I found out what I was having at 16 weeks exactly. It was pretty obvious it was a boy and he was in a good position to see.



Usually at your 20 week ultrasound they will let you know if you want. I went for a 3D ultrasound to specifically find out the sex.

Since everyone is different, including myself, they can find out anytime, or when you are lucky enough to see "it".



I found out at 7 months pregnant.



The whole pregnancy, she kept her face and "it" hidden, so we did not find out until my 7th month!!!!
