Is it okay if I have a burger at five guys if I am pregnant?

I know you’re not allowed to eat undercooked red meat. Would a beef burger from five guys be okay?? Need opinions. Thanks

Yes, as long as it's cooked through well. There's very little I avoided while pregnant (I ate soft cheeses, hotdogs, rare steak, runny eggs, sushi from reputable restaurants, pretty much everything), but burgers cooked rare or medium rare at restaurants were one thing I avoided. When meat is ground it creates millions of cut surfaces on which contaminants can settle, and when you're ordering a burger from a restaurant you have no way of knowing how long ago that meat was ground. If I'd gotten a hankering for a good rare or medium rare burger, I would have made one fresh ground at home.

They're required by law to prepare it past the dangerous point.
