Bending over won't make your baby disabled, nor even harm it...

Bending is only a problem if it hurts you, it wont hurt the baby. Just because you clean things doesn't mean your baby will have a handicap, or disability, many women have "nesting" days or weeks before labour and delivery and their babies are fine and dandy. If you have had all your prenatal testing and checkups then you stand a good chance at having a perfectly healthy baby (but bad things do happen also). I am 31 weeks pregnant and so far my kids have jumped on my belly very hard I had contractions for 2 days, I had a fall last night and the same thing, but so far my baby is ok. Cleaning is nothing to be worried about.

You shouldn't worry. When I was pregnant I worked up until the day before I had my son. I stood for 8 hours straight, bent over, lifted boxes (not really heavy, usually around 5-10 pounds) and used cleaning products.

If you don't have any family history of disability, it would be rare for your child to have one. It is possible, but rare. And doing everyday chores isn't going to cause a disability in your child.

And a lot of times your doctor can tell if there is a disability during an ultrasound, which I assume you've had one. If there was anything abnormal going on in there they would tell you!!

I understand how you feel though, I always worried about that when I was pregnant too. Just remember that you will love your child no matter what, but I really don't think you have anything to worry about.

Good luck and congrats!

You are not hurting the baby. If anything, staying active helps for a better delivery. Relax! If there was any reason to suspect a disability, it would most likely have shown in some way on your sonograms or other prenatal screenings. Stress is not good for you OR the baby so chill.

i'm dealing with an similar element. I have my infant in about 6 days with the help of c-section and that i'm getting so apprehensive that they are going to rush her to the NICU or I received't listen her cry or she will be ill or have a delivery ailment. I pray plenty because i'm paranoid with the help of nature. it really is largely intensified after I get pregnant. it really is my 2d infant and that i develop into no the position close to this apprehensive and freaked out with my first baby. i attempt to keep myself calm and comfortable. I lay down, watch my abdomen and my infant's cartwheels and kicks. It makes me smile and supplies me a touch extra confirmation that it is okay. i imagine it is completely established to agonize as an expectant mom. there's a multitude of duty targeted on carrying yet another existence. you sense thoroughly to blame for each little thing that takes position to the newborn, even at the same time as it is not on your administration. To me, it is basically an illustration that you will be a large mom. attempt to loosen up and position your hand on your abdomen to sense that suited existence interior you. each little thing is going to be ok! good success!

i'm sure your baby is going to be fine. I would tell the doctor how active you have been if you have had your hands above your head alot that could wrap the cord around the babies neck. They will catch it during delivery. I wouldn't worry about it, I think you are fine and the baby. Good luck new mom.

So why have you been doing these things if you know it's bad? And anyway.. the baby is pretty well protected, I'm sure it will be just fine.

My daughter was born with birth defects and I love her more than anything in the world. Chances are your child is fine; but if not, love her anyway.
