Pregnancy: Thrush and haemorrhoids Q's.?

I've always been prone to thrush, but since i've fallen pregnant it's been beyond a joke, i've not been having sex which was the main cause of it, i wore cotton underwear, and did everything i was supposed to to stop it coming back, it still keeps coming back though and i don't understand why, it's bloomin annoying! I've had pessarys and creams, the creams take the itch away in 1 day but then i'm left with horrible discharge, i'm not 100% if it's actually thrush now. It's been more watery than usual, i was checked out from my midwife yesterday, she sent a swab and a urine sample away, which will test for a urine infection & too see what the problem is, pessarys work for about 2weeks then it's back. It's definitely not amniotic fluid that's leaking etc.

Any ideas on what it could be? Won't get my results until my next appt with midwife at the end of January, if it is recurring thrush, is it unsafe for me to have it for another month?

I've also got haemorrhoids - oh the joys of pregnancy eh.

I know it's definitely haemorrhoids but i'm gonna get a prescription from the doctors so i know what i'm getting is definitely safe for my baby, will she want to examine me to make sure it's what i say it is? i know that's tmi, but i'm just pretty embarrassed when it comes to things like this and don't like the thought of them examining me there haha!

Also, will this be unsafe for me to be waiting another few weeks without being treated for it? I've already had it for about 2weeks, had it at the very begining of my pregnancy but my change in diet stopped it from becoming worse.

Help people :) - Merry xmas btw!!

no it's not dangerous if it was they would take care of it instantly. sounds like you have a bit of a yeast infection. weird discharge is common while preggo wear a panty liner to help with that. get a peri bottle {a small squirt bottle} and after going to the bathroom spray your bottom with warm water. it will help clean and take some of the itch away. congrats on your pregnancy and merry christmas. oh you will get over your fear of being examined they look at your hoo haa and request tests all the time when your pregnant.

About the thrush: I have no idea.

About hemorrhoids: I have a lot of ideas, have been there, done that, had two surgeries you never want to have!

For hemorrhoids, you need to use a stool softener (make sure it's okay with your doc, though), OR eat a lot of high fiber foods so that your bowel movements will be easier and you won't be straining 'down there.' The weight of the baby will cause the hemorrhoids to pop out (they are really varicose veins that are so strained, they swell outside the area where they're supposed to be) -- you need to try to make your movements as easy as possible. So don't put anything in your mouth that will constipate you, as constipation is your worst enemy right now!

Wishing you peace, love and joy to you and I hope, even if it's just for one day, that you are without pain and worry so that you can have a Merry Christmas -- kjt

I developed hemorrhoids about 3 years ago because of the long hours spent working in my cubicle. My doctor tried to do everything in her power to help me, but unfortunately the medication didn't work. Surgery was out of the question! At that point, I was helpless, embarrassed and with almost no social life, so I've decided to try something else.

I bought this book on how to get rid of hemorrhoids naturally, "Hemorrhoids No More" by Jessica Wright, doctor and independent remedy researcher ( available in electronic format + video here: http://www.hemorrhoidsnomore.net ). After reading the book and taking action in 48 hours the pain, irritation, itching and bleeding was gone. To my surprise I was able to permanently cure my hemorrhoids 100% naturally.

We need to stop paying paying each month good money on drugs, creams and oils. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants us to do! They want to milk money from us each month. Good luck!

You can do many things at home to ease itching and pain from hemorrhoids. Read here https://tr.im/0Ase6

These tips can also keep them from getting worse. They may also help you avoid them in the future. Try them and see what works for you.

Take these steps to avoid constipation and make it easier to go. That can stop many hemorrhoids before they form.
