If you are hypothyroid you can safely take unithroid and synthroid.



If your doctor has not yet looked for the cause of your hypothyroidism, ask to be tested for celiac (celiac panel) especially if you have a history of disgestive problems. It is a very common cause of hypothyroidism and is easily controlled by avoiding gluten (in wheat and barley produscts). My husband and daughter both have hypothyroidism from celiac.
