Question:
I was told I was miscarrying. My ultrasound showed just blobs of mass/blood. Has anyone else had this? ?

Still not passing much blood or tissue. I was 12 weeks along with I found out. Does this mean the baby had been dead a long time and is decomposing? The ultrasound tech/doc could not determine how far along I was.

Oh sweetie I'm so sorry, especially being so far along. Being there was just a 'blob' then yes, the baby had stopped developing weeks ago - probably around week 6 or so based on what you're describing. It's not decomposing it's just stuck there and your body hasn't realized to expel it. Unfortunately it sounds like you're going to need a D & C to remove it from your uterus so that you can heal and try again in a couple of months.

No sweetie, this does not mean the baby is decomposing and I am sooo very sorry for your loss.

You most likly will have to havea D and C which is very normal. That is a procedure they do to go up and scrape your uturus to be sure to get all the "left overs".

The stuff you are most likley seeing is your Uturus shredding. I went through this also. Do not be concerned about the idea of a shredding uturus, that is very very normal.

Absolutly devastating when you go through this, so I am so sorry and I am thinking of you!

I am sorry for your loss; I myself have had 3 miscarriages, but God blessed me with a full-term little girl in November 2007. Listen, it's a devastating loss and you can ask your doctor to diagnose the tissue from the miscarriage.

God bless you (He is so good!) and when the time is right, God will see to it that you are with child.
