It depends on how far dilated and how long it takes you to dilate. They may even pop your water if your far enough dilated. Also depends on the doctor or the hospital and where you live. Sorry not so helpful. Do you know how to check your cevix because if you do you could check it see how many fingers you can fit in or how much room you have. Like one finger is one cm dilated 2 fingers means 2 cm dilated. Make sure your hands are washed and very clean before doing it. The doc does it during contractions some times but not always. Again sorry not to much help.

They will most likely send you back because your contractions are more than 5 minutes apart.

Whether or not your waters have broken is irrelevant. For most women their waters break at the hospital while in active labour, not at home.

Anyway, when you have a question like this you shouldn't ask us. You can CALL the hospital and tell THEM your symptoms, and then THEY will tell you whether or not you need to come in.

I gave birth a month ago, my doctor told me that if your contractions are 5 minutes apart they wont send you home.
