Congrats!! Feeling your baby kick is the best feeling. As your pregnancy goes on you will start to feel your baby kicking more and more!!! Though sometimes I will have to admit it did get annoying especially at night when laying in bed. Doctors say babies tend to kick more at night because during the day us moving around rocks the baby to sleep. If you can see your baby kick then maybe you will be as lucky as me and everytime my baby moved I could see it ( it actually looked like I had a alien in my tummy!!!) I called it the mexican wave... but just be paitent and it will start moving. once you know what it feels like you will start feeling it more often!!!

I first felt a real kick at 18 weeks, and then for a couple of weeks after that, baby used to start kicking like a kickboxer every morning at about 7 o clock.

Now im 29 weeks, baby kicks really hard in the morning at about 6 o clock and then frequently throughout the day.

Now, i think i sometimes feel baby hiccup, which is a really weird feeling - its like a rhythmic "bump bump bump" like how we hiccup...its so funny.

Also, now when baby moves around inside me, i can see ripples over my belly, or one part of my belly will poke out and go back down again - i love watching it, its so magical.

Every baby has a different schedule of kicking and moving around. Some babies are very calm and hardly kick (my little brother and big sister were that way when my mom was pg) and others kick a lot and are very active, like I was when my mom was pg with me.

Eventually you'll learn your baby's schedule and activity. I'm 19 weeks along and my baby seems more active in the very early mornings and then again in the evening.

If you notice baby's usual activity is slowing down or stopping altogether, call your doc ASAP.

mines started at 18 wks..and i was surprised too.

she didnt kick too much everyday..but as the wks went on the kicks progressed and the strength of them did too.

rite now i think ur baby is swimming around a lot but ur not gonna feel all of its movements, but...u will at the end when he/shes losing room

good luck and congrats!

i Know exactly how you feel - its the best feeling in the world. It will get more and more frequent as your pregnancy goes on. My babies seemed to kick more as i was trying to go to sleep - but they were very active kicking just about all day long. Enjoy it!!!

Its even more amazing - when you get bigger you'll be able to see your bub when it kicks - that spun me out!!
