I had a baby about a year ago, and this is what my stomach looks like afterwards... I have a flat stomach, its just loose skin.. I'm 20 years old and hope that over time it will get better, I just really don't want to get a tummy tuck... I don't feel like mine is severe enough for that... Has anyone has minor loose skin like mine? What did you do about it?

Ya you can tell it's loose skin, not fat!! Since you are so young, I think it will get better, all womens bodies are different. If it makes you feel better, it doesn't look that bad....there are alot of women who would be thrilled with that:) Try some different ab exercises...I do think it will get better. Good luck and congrats on your baby:)

Crazy... I was just googling about loose skin after pregnancy and then I opened up YA and saw your question! Seems a lot of women have loose skin after having children. I too have that loose skin. I had four babies in four years, starting in '05. I had my last baby August of last year and since then, I've lost all the pregnancy weight, but I still have that loose skin on my stomach. When I curve my back, my stomach looks like an old, wrinkly face! I do lots of cardio (and have for a while) and that doesn't help with the extra skin. I've started doing sit-ups and other various abdominal exercises and I've yet to notice the skin going away. My stomach muscles are getting tighter, but that loose skin just wont shrink. Not trying to be negative, but it's a possibility that it's here to stay... short of a tummy tuck. It's kind of like the stretch marks (I got a few with my second pregnancy) they are just part of the sacrifice we mother make. Some women get lucky and don't have much issues with stretched skin after pregnancy, but it all depends on the elasticity in your skin. So, if you find any great product out there that helps boost elasticity (I've heard Omega 3 helps), please, do post!

Exercise is the answer to tighten it up hon. Do at least 15 minutes a day you don't want to over do either. it will get rid of the flab which isn't that bad. You shouldn't have that much of a problem.

It doesn't look that bad, really... At least your stomach is flat... But it still scares me a little. lol You didn't mention if you exercise or not. Sits ups and cruches will help tighten that skin back up.. It's something that you probably should have done sooner, though. Since you have no fat, you don't really have to worry about cardio, but I'm sure it can't hurt any.. Good luck and congrats on the baby.

Edit: Why did I get a thumbs down? I guess that's what honesty does. It scares me because I can only imagine what mine is going to look like. --;

loose skin is usually addressed in a tummy tuck surgery: http://best-cosmetic-surgeries.com/the-popularity-of-cosmetic-surgeries/tummy-tuck-surgery/
