How often does a false positive happen in preg. test.?

I've taken 3 pregnancy test..an ept, early response, and clear blue. THe early response had 2 dark lines, the clear blue has one dark line and one faint line. and the ept has a negative. I have been tired, nauseas, and headache. But the furtherst i could be along is 3 weeks since i got my period last month. What are my chances that i'm pregnant.

there is never a false positive!!because the test checks for any sign of the pregnancy hormone. it can miss the hormone and get a false negative but if theres any positive result, then youre pregnant. take a test first thing in the morning! thats when your hormone levels are highest

the third test may not be sensitive enough to pick up the HCG in your system.. all pregnancy tests are not equal and do not pick up pregnancy as early as others...



EPT is for early response.. so it will tell u r pregnant sometimes even before you miss your period..



the same thing happened to me, i was 3 weeks when i found out.. and i was really pregnant... most pregnancy will give a false negative more often than a false positive.. because there is nothing else in your body that creates large amounts of HCG except during pregnancy... birth control doesnt contain HCG..so it cant be mistaken for the pill or the patch or depo..

If you got 2 that say yes then you are most likely pregnant. I would go make that dr appointment!

Three Test:

EPT: neg (probably not enough HGC for the test)

ERT:had 2 dark lines (pregnant)

CBT:one dark and one faint line! ( so you are pregnant, and the urine should have been the mourning pee)!!



Three weeks at the most, can be pregnant!!



Okay for one I tested on the 29 of Aug.. and concieved on Aug. 19, so for me it was ten days,and my lines were bright!! I used a EPT!!
