What do flutters feel like? What's the difference in feeling of flutters and actual kicks?

Also, how early do people start feeling them? How long do you feel them before kicks start?

flutters feel like bubbles popping inside...where as kicks feels like a very light kick just from inside (and they don't hurt) I felt the flutters around 13 weeks...they were very infrequent, they got more frequent around 16 weeks...and I felt the kicks at 19 weeks, they get frequent as they get bigger...

and my baby was still able to kick as she got bigger, just less frequent...there was more stretching happening because there wasn't enough room.

Hope this helped

Flutters normally start of feeling like bubbles in your tummy, you might even not attribute them to kicks until they start to come more often. Usually by the time you get to 20 weeks you should start to feel something although it can be earlier and later. Over a few weeks the flutters become kicks you can feel inside you but no one else will, and then progress to ones everyone will be able to feel. It's the best feeling so enjoy.

oh you will know for sure between a kick and a flutter and you can see the difference too...most women start feeling kicks around 20 weeks...flutters feel kinda like you have little butterflies in your stomach a kick feels like someone very small is kicking you from the inside lol its an amazing feeling lol...and enjoy them cuz unless you get pregnant again its the only time you get to experience them...everything you go through is gonna be amazing enjoy every minute of it...and at about 25 or 26 weeks babies start running out of room so they wont really kick anymore it will be more stretching and pushing the babys feet and hands will move across your tummy its really awkward but it feels really cool well good luck and i hope i helped!

Flutters can start as early as 16 wks or as 20 wks. It's rapid baby movement that a bit like shaking. With kits it's a definite hit that you really feel. It's like gentle vs hard. Flutters usually start aout month before the kicks.

flutters feel just kinda wierd. Its a quick little feeling in your stomache or uterus, alot of the doctors referr to flutters as "quickening" It also sometimes can feel like gas, you start feeling them at about 16 weeks. Kicks are a more of a jab and its alot more noticeable of a feeling. I just started feeling my first real kicks this evening and im 20 weeks. Congrats on your pregnancy!

early movements are normally like flutters often described like a butterlies wings on the inside of your belly, sometiems they can be like bubbles or wind though its different for everyone. they gradually get stronger and soon you will be able to tell theyre kicks or punches, later on you can actually see them through your bump.

with my first i s tarted getting flutters around 18 weeks then real kicks from 21 weeks. with my second and current pregnancy i got flutters from 10-12 weeks and real kicks from 16 weeks.

i didn't feel anything until i was 18 weeks and i don't quite know how to explain it you can just feel like a little bubbly feeling i guess but then a few weeks after that when you start feeling the stronger movements it feels like something turning in your stomach, sometimes the movements are quick and sudden and other times you feel like if something is rubbing against you. i had a hard time feeling the flutters but once they got stronger i knew it was them and once you feel them you feel them constantly (keep in mind everyone is different).

I felt mine at 16 weeks. Flutters feels like a butterfly flapping in your tummy and kicks feels like poking in your stomach.
