Why do people say congrats, when someone else is pregnant?

Like in my previous post everyone is telling ME "congrats your friend is pregnant"... that is NOT a congrats for me, I could care less... Like I don't understand why people are telling me congrats, i'm not pregnant she is.. and she isn't even happy about it so really its isn't a congrats for anyone. Even if she was happy about it... why are you telling ME congrats??

well are u going to be part of this babys life?? thats why they say it u get to be part of the new babys likfe congrats to that!!! n would it really matter people are just trying to be nice! there is no reason to get offended!

you said your friend was your bestie but you could care less about her life and possible baby and if she is your best friend why wouldnt you be apart of the babys life? you dont seem like your a good friend.



and people say congrats because babies are precious and there should always be a congrats when someone is having one.

I hope for your own sake and the babys sake that you do not have children for a very long time. When you tell people something like that, they think you are proud of it so, they congratulate you. If you do not want congratulated, stop telling people I guess.
