Question:
I'M PREGNANT AND EXPERIENCING LIGHT SPOTTING, SHOULD I BE WORRIED?? MORE DETAILS!!!!?

I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and haven't had my first doctors appointment yet. About a week ago I had a TINY bit of light brown spotting. This didn't concern me too much because it was such a small amount and then it stopped. Today, after I got out of the shower I started to spot again. I wiped 8 or 9 times and there was brown blood on the tissue every time. I have been spotting this way all day and have been wearing a panty liner so I can monitor how much it is happening. I haven't needed to change the liner all day but I am SO worried that something is wrong or that I am about to miscarry. I have the feeling that my period is about to start. No real cramping just the general "feeling" that you get in your lower abdomen when your period is about to start. I have been very stressed out the last couple of days because I just found out that my grandfather has cancer and I just got married 2 days ago. I'm hoping my stress level has nothing to do with my spotting. My questions:
Did you have spotting in early pregnancy (5th week or later)?
Did your baby turn out to be ok?
Should I be concerned about the spotting even if it is light in flow and brown in color?
Any other information or input you have on this would be very appreciated. I am so WORRIED and going CRAZY!!!
Thank you so much!

Well 1st of i want to say that you should speck to your doctor when you can and get there reasurrance. I have 2 storys to tell. I will start with the bad one. 2 years ago when i was 5 weeks pregnant i had brown blood only when i wiped and i asked the question on here like you and was told brown is old and nothing to worry about. Over a week the bleeding got slowly worse and went to pink and then red i had no cramps. I went to the doctors loads and although i could not have a scan they checked internally and i was closed. Then on the 7th day i had a really sharp pain then waves of cramps and then i passed the baby.

My next story is im currently 7 weeks 2 days pregnant and since 5 weeks i have been having spots and some cramps. mostly they have been light brown and watery discharge but sometimes i have had light brown and 3 times light pink, i have had 2 scans 5 weeks apart and my baby is fine with a heartbeat and the bleeding is not from my baby. Im still worried.

About 50% of women who experience bleeding dont miscarry. ake sure you see your doctor dont worry till you need to and rest when you can/

My doctor said brown blood is something that has happened and is old as is pink, its only to worry when it is pink. Craps are norally nothing to worry about and can be a good sign as it shows your body is preparing. Believe me when i say the cramps i had when i miscarried where far worse that pregnancy and period cramps

It sounds to me like you're pregnant, or no less than have been pregnant. I've not ever skilled some thing like that, so cannot aid you so much. They would attempt to do a steady (on best of stomach) ultrasound, but when you are best nine weeks alongside, that usually would not paintings. They will usually emerge as doing a trans-vaginal ultrasound wherein they stick the ultrasound wand into your vagina. That's the form I had whilst I was once 7 one million/two weeks pregnant. The extended CM might additionally simply be from the fluctuations in hormones from now not take your delivery manage or taking it sporadically.

Yes,I had spotting in that period of time. Brown blood is old blood,by the way. I'm now 38 weeks 1 day pregnant, and everything's fine. I wouldnt be concerned, but call your doctor,if anything,to make yourself feel better that way you don't stress over it. I know I had light pink spotting early on like that, and again,I'm now almost due,and things are fine. With my daughter,I had spotting a couple times, and she's now six years old. Brown blood is old blood, and that is typically your body cleaning itself out,but again, call your doctor if it's something that's making you stress.

i didn't have that. it sounds normal because it's brown, if it was red i'd be more worried. you do need to speak to your doctor about this just more for piece of mind than anything else. i hope everything is ok for you. most importantly keep relaxed because if you stress so does the baby. take deep breaths and go see your doctor :) xx
