Question:
Embarrassing moment pregnant?
2008-08-02 18:28:43 UTC
I just had an appointment at the midwife office. My midwife office (there are 8 midwives from the same practice) was very thoughtful and put in a 5 stall bathroom in, but I don't like them because the only have curtains as you have to risk being walked in on (due to a bunch of pregnant women and who knows what could happen). Then each exam room has a toilet that has a little wall that blocks it from view in the doorway, but still able to see from the rest of the room. So today I had an appointment and was waiting in the exam room for the midwife. The stalls were full and I had to go, so I went to the toilet and mid-pee the nurses walked in telling me they were switching my room. Without thinking, I stood up and said "One moment please!". How embarrassing finding I made a mess over the floor. She shut the door and let me finish without the rest of the world seeing me, helped me out and then cleaned up the mess after I was out of there. Still embarrassing though! What was your pregnant moment?

My moment was when I was pregnant with my first daughter and I had a prenatal checkup that consisted of an internal exam.Well sometimes they are not so gentle and really force them in there. Now I am not one to fart if I know there are people around and it will be loud so I was holding it in since the waiting room and when they did the internal exam I farted right in the doctors face. I felt horrible but being the person I am...I laughed so hard that I farted again and it was like one of those putt putt farts...everytime my belly shook from laughin I farted while the whole time this was going on the doctor was still giving me my exam so it just made it worse and I continued laughing. I was sooooooooooooooo embarassed by the time he was done I couldn't even say anything but "I'm SO sorry,I don't know what was going on"

He laughed and said "I think you are the only woman that has ever apologized for that!"

ROFLMAO there is some funny stories here, embarrassing but funny, sure make good stories to tell the kids when they are adults lol, especially OnlyMe21 omg I was nearly peeing myself laughing, I think if that was me I would just die of embarrassment too funny.

Worst thing that happened to me was when I was about 6months pregnant and had a bad case of morning sickness, (in the afternoon) I was throwing up so violently and didn't feel that I needed to go to the toilet and when I was being ill I accidently wet myself at the same time whilst I was throwing up, I was soooo embarrassed even though it was at home, hubby cracked up laughing and of course that just set me off and I bawled like baby lol, then went psycho at him for laughing at my humilation. lol.

When I was pregnant with my daughter 3 years ago and my water broke. I had nothing that would contain the leaking and when I walked into the hospital I had to walk to the ER and registration and was leaving a trail all over the place. It looked like I was peeing the entire way. When I got pregnant with her I barely looked pregnant. I gained VERY little weight and had a very tiny belly. Plus I was wearing a big shirt, so I didn't even look preggo to the people who didnt know me. So I was gettin all kindsa looks. LOL

Wow, you poor thing, that had to be embarrassing!! So far the only embarrassing moment I have had was when I was 13 weeks, I was walking down the stairs of the building across from our apartment, anyway, I fell like the last three steps and landed on my butt!!! My husband and 5 of his friends saw the whole thing and came running. One of the guys was carrying on about me being pregnant..and I snapped at him, I felt so bad!! The only thing I hurt was my pride!!!

Oh you don't need to be too embarrassed about that! I am currently only 7 weeks preg. so I haven't had any moments yet, but I can vividly remember my mom and I being in wal mart, she was about 7 months pregnant with twins. All of a sudden she has the urge to go pee. So we start sprinting to the front of the store when suddenly she just stops and says " walk behind me". She had peed herself in the middle of wal mart and I had to stand behind her and cover up the quickly spreading wet spot that was on the back of her dress. Hope that made you feel better!

I have a funny pee one too. I had a horrid memory while I was pregnant.... I would forget everything! I was asked for a urine sample at emergency where I went in on Christmas holidays (I was out of town and was extremely dizzy and faint). Anyway, they asked for a pee sample and so I took the cup and immediately went to the bathroom in the toilet. I than got up and took my empty cup and gave it to the nurse with my embarrassed "I forgot to pee in the cup". I felt like such an idiot, lol

I was pretty close to my due date and at that point I was peeing every 1/2 an hour b/c of all the pressure on my bladdar. Well I was on the phone with my sister and I began laughing so hard that I peed myself. I didn't just dribble- I actually peed through my underwear and through my pants. Thank God I was the only one home. But it is a pretty funny joke to tell now!

When I was pregnant with my first, I noticed some wetness in my underwear. I was convinced I was leaking amniotic fluid. I was freaking out and called the doctor. She told me to come in immediately. No leak. I'd just accidentally peed on myself and not realized it. Talk about embarrassing!

Ohh Poor thing!

Nothing really embarrassing happened to me. I did have a fall on our way to be induced! That wasn't the worst part...that was when I burst into tears and cried like a baby! More because I was nervous about the induction than the fall!

When my morning sickness first started I was in my moms car driving on the highway and without warning I projectile vomited all over her car dash board, speedometer, passenger door, basically, you name it I got puke on it. You just have to remember that you are most likely not the first or the last to have this happen. Just remember that now you have something to laugh about and tell your baby about now.

MIne has always been that I poop given birth. Not very much but I do. I hate that fact of it but hey alot of women do it so I really don't care. After having my second son the nurse was in their helping me and I set on the toilet to pee and air came out of my vagina. It was embarrasing but hey I couldn't help it.

mine happened after I had my daughter.

I had to run to the store for formula and i was standing in line and the cashier and person behind me kept staring at me. When I got home, my husband started laughing. I had two giant circles from my boobs leaking. I forgot to put in my bra pads.

After pregnancy-- I had my c-section and was attempting to use the bathroom... the nurse was helping me put on my slippers and i couldnt hold it any more.........yes!!!! I peed all over the nurse's hands. I tried to stop but anyone whose held their pee before knows-- once it starts, there's no stopping it!
