I've been trying to find info about evap lines due to confusions on 2 tests I've taken. First test taken at 6pm yesterday and got a possible feint positive or an evap line. Test taken this morning (after little sleep) is a complete negative....can barely see an evap line at all.

I am using Rite-Aid brand tests which use blue dye. Some sites say they give you more evap lines. Some sites say evap lines are gray or clear-ish, but mine is the same color blue (maybe a little lighter) as the control line.

I have one test left to take tomorrow morning after a full night's sleep but now I really want to clear up this confusion anyways. Any opinions are appreciated!

I always wondered myself --- until I did get an evaporation line with blue color (it was on a Target made my Inverness --- check your box the manufacturer "Inverness" makes a lot of generic tests). It was SUPER faint .... I decided to use my remaining 2 First Response Tests to confirm (with the same urine sample) and they were both negative.

When I got pregnant I used First Response and Clear Blue Digital --- I got a faint pink line and a "Pregnant" on the digital. I used a remaining Target test and I got a faint blue line --- but it had significantly more color than when I wasn't pregnant and got a faint blue line.

I suggest trying a pink dye test! I really had issues with the generic blue line test.

If you got a faint positive within the time specified on the box instructions then you are pregnant even if it goes away later no matter what kind of dye they are using. If you read the results of any test after 10 minutes then it is invalid. I think you ARE pregnant. Use your first morning urine tomorrow and make sure you read the results within the time frame.

It ok could properly be a great. With my modern being pregnant, I took a greenback keep attempt and it appeared destructive. I wrapped it in a paper towel and threw it in my handbag. approximately 5 minutes or so later, I had to get into my handbag and the attempt fell out. the 2d line replaced into soooooo faint. You had to squint to confirm it and pass it up into the sunshine. yet, it replaced into pink, and right here I sit down, 27 weeks pregnant.

I tested with first response & i had no problems reading my positive result! Clearblue also sells a digital pregnancy test that will spell out "pregnant" or "not pregnant" and this will help you if your having trouble reading the lines. good luck!
